The United Kingdom ranked almost last in the list of wealthy countries fighting child poverty, coming in just above Columbia and Turkey. Slovenia topped the rankings.
And this is not a call to abandon the weak. Is the reminder that the stronger must care for and build up the weaker.
This is what I don’t really get about a lot of the capitalists and neo-liberals, most of these measures to significantly increase the quality of life of the poor and education and health are not that expensive but would result in a much stronger and more productive overall society. That is something that even people who don’t care about the moral aspect should want.
