Well, I would opt for a search through Kagi using the fediverse lense. But you basically edited your post on how it would need to be done otherwise And answered your own question. There’s also https://fedi-search.com/
The post ID isn’t universal when you’re putting it in another instance search bar. You have to use the entire URL of the originating instance.
Are you asking on how to search through your own local data from a instance you took offline?

Quite the opposite on lemmy. People rage hard on here to the point of hopping in apple specific communities to talk about how apple is the devil. Usually most of the things these people say are not even true.

It is, but the only fully federated things are instance oriented moderations. No one can federate out changes on to communities on other instances. Those actions would only show for their local users.
I see the same article posted about 15 times for three days, maybe that’s the same thing going on here.
