Kupferband habe ich auch ums Hochbeet, aber habe gehört, dass Kupfer nur bedingt wirksam ist, weil die Kupferionen, die die Sohle der Schnecken schädigen, nur unter bestimmten Bedingungen (Temperatur und pH-Wert) abgesondert werden.

Finde den Gartencoach zu solchen Themen ja ganz informativ, der hat auch kürzlich was zu Schnecken gemacht.

Gut möglich, ich weiß nicht, wie viel wirkliche Evidenz es zur Wirksamkeit der verschiedenen Nacktschneckenbekämpfungsmethoden gibt. Meine Pflanzen blieben auf jeden Fall seitdem verschont und ich habe 50 Cent in Pfand und 5 Minuten Bastelzeit investiert. Selbst wenn nur eine Schnecke nicht an die Pflanzen geht, weil es ihr zu umständlich ist, habe ich was gewonnen. :)

Jep, da hast Du sicher Recht. Ich habe mich an der Aussage “Die Größe von Autoflowers richtet sich nach der Topfgröße” orientiert und es wahrscheinlich übertrieben. Macht aber nichts, Töpfe können wir hier immer gebrauchen, meine Gurken stehen zum Beispiel super in den Töpfen. 😄

Ja, die Töpfe sind wasserdurchlässig, das ist quasi der Witz daran. Bei den 25-l-Töpfen hatte ich allerdings das Problem, dass mir beim Tragen eines vollen Topfes schon eine der Trageschlaufen abgerissen ist, sie halten also sicher nicht so ewig, wie Kunstoff- oder Terracotta-Töpfe.

Zu den Töpfen: Stimmt, das sind Stofftöpfe (streng genommen Polyester…). Angeblich sollen sie zu einer guten Sauerstoffversorgung der Wurzeln beitragen.

Ich habe sie beim Samenkauf mitbestellt, weil ich keine Blumentöpfe mehr hatte und sie mit 8,70 € für 25 l auch verhältnismäßig günstig waren. Ohne die RQS-Stickerei sind sie sogar noch günstiger, habe ich leider erst im Nachhinein herausgefunden.

Dieses Jahr sind sie auch besonders schlimm: Milder Winter, feuchtes Frühjahr.

Ich habe zur chemischen Keule gegriffen und großflächig Schneckenkorn ausgebracht, außerdem habe ich aus alten PET-Flaschen diese süßen Schneckenkrägen gebastelt. Durch das scharfkantige Material soll es die Schnecken von den Pflanzen fernhalten. Gibt’s auch zu kaufen.

Ich weiß nicht, ob meine Konstruktion so optimal ist, aber wenigstens ist, seitdem ich die Kragen vor anderthalb Wochen angebracht habe, Ruhe.

Ich bin wirklich kein Experte, aber ich sehe viele milchige Trichome und einige bernsteinfarben Trichome. Man liest überall, dass es das ist, was man will. Wenn’s Dein erster Grow ist, würde ich sagen: Go for it! Und wenn Du mit dem Ergebnis nicht happy bist, machst Du das nächste mal was anders. 🤷

When you’re a smoker and getting pregnant, your doctor will most likely not try to bully you into quitting, instead they inform you about the risks and recommend you to cut down the smoking to a minimum but they will also acknowledge that you will most likely not overcome your addiction while your body is already under a lot of stress.

Serious question? Money today is nothing more than a number in an account. When a country needs more of its own currency, it can increase it’s account by that amount.

Then stop selling bonds and start investing directly (build schools, repair bridges, pay your employees, etc.).

Countries don’t have to take the detour through state bonds because they can make money out of thin air. State bonds are a self-imposed and there’s no law of nature that mandates using them.

No, that is not true. That states sell bonds is a self-imposed rule.

As long as a state collects its taxes in its own currency there will be demand for that currency.

Don’t get me wrong: You’re 100 % entitled to your preferences and your definition of a hobby.

It was just unusual for me to equate a hobby with putting effort and perseverance into something. For me a hobby is something you simply do for your enjoyment in your free time on a more or less regular basis.

But hey: Definitions differ.🤷
