Trendlocity is the name of the comicseries, aka Val and Isaak. If you scroll through the comics you might notice that many of them are just silly stories without deeper meaning. The author even writes ‘I draw goofy aliens sometimes.’ in their about.
The two in the top panels are the time boys . They constantly shift through time, which might explain the changing clothing. The character with the wizard hat is Isaac and asked them to help him out of the awkward situation of forgetting a name of someone he should know.

We are getting closer and it makes me very sad.

There were some songs (of different genres) which I thought “huh, sounds really good” and then noticed, that it was AI (either by a disclaimer in the description, people in the comments or by the voice; the voice of AI is still fairly noticeable) and went “fuuuuuuuck, now I don’t want to like it”. And this annoys me, as I know it will happen more often and also that I will miss out noticing it more. AI creations can get flooded while real creators getting drowned out (looking with much disgust at you Pixiv and DeviantArt).

But I also want to add that I am not against AI assisted music creations. But then the creator must disclose where and how much the AI was involved.

If it would have been just an image, I would have done so (I have a scraper for this). But the meme is a video (or audio with one image-frame) and I couldn’t find a direct link to the file, so I linked the post.

Interesting question. But I doubt that you could conduct such an experiment with graphene or similar, as the width of one atom is still a lot more that infinitesimal.

Technically speaking, the sideview would be an infinite thin line (and so invisible) or even no line at all as you can not rotate the view this way in 2D space.

Also, who says they are all 2D? Maybe they are fully 3D humanoids which we view through a pane of 2D projection.
