Dont know what that is, tbh. I lost interest in the series after Disney kept doing their thing. I can’t speak for any of the new stuff from the last few years.

The originals were fantasy. I’s not a hot take, it’s fact - Swords, wizards, castles, knights, the heros journey. Some of the other shows and media since departed from that. Mandelorean is a western, solo was a heist movie, and most the shows don’t fit the fantasy tropes that well. None of Star wars, to my knowledge, fits sci fi at all.

Well yeah. If people all over the world knew weeks earlier, obviously the health officials knew. But if they didn’t report it before, that doesn’t disagree with the textbook.

When is the earliest heath officials reported it though? That paragraph doesn’t disagree with your memory.

How could this be less clunky on PS after any time? It played fantastic on PC, (that is, no clunk at all by my measure), but I have no idea how point and click gameplay would work with a controller.

The zeitgeist with DND druids has always bored me. I play them exclusively evil, as I am finding out just as I think about it now.

There is a middle finger of vecna druid archetype that allows for unique shapeshifts into an abomination. It’s a lot of fun to play and the shapeshift options are very versatile and adjustable each shift. I role played a LE human who sook out expediting the heat death of the universe for the Eldritch pantheon. I joined the party as they were already doing a good job leading to the destruction of society. It was all for the purity of nature, of course.

Another I played was a spore druid who was basically Shaggy from Scooby Doo, but evil. The archetype I used was absolutely awful but it came with lots of good stories as I got incredibly high irl to play the character. I conspired with the DM against the party for the glory of Strahd for an entire year of play, and then abandoned the vampire lord when the party started winning the final fight. Convincing the party irl (who was none the wiser but absolutely hated my character) that Strahd was just trying to get in their heads to split the party will probably be my favorite memory of DND for all time.

Why wouldn’t this be fine? You met at 23. It’s not like you were groomed from childhood. Strangers on the Internet cannot validate your relationship with this man. Only you know the details that can inform the decision you have made to befriend him.

I actually think that’s what they called Mario deluxe for the WII U. Definitely look into it before buying a 2nd copy of the same game like I did. I mean, I’ve 100%ed it a few times now but still I wish I knew it was the same.

In fact, it’s better on the Wii u. Player 2 can either play as a Luigi or play as god on the Wii pad. Putting down tiles and making the game dead easy.

Overcooked is only fun if everyone is terrible or everyone is great. It’s a great concept but definitely not going to work out for most groups.

For Mario kart, did you put on some bots? Without the NPCs, 2 player is lame, even if you are both quite good.

Have you played It Takes Two? This sounds like it hits your requirements.

For couch coop, I’d actually suggest Mario Deluxe over the very recent Mario Wonder if you wanted to try a side scroller. Wonder is great, but it’s couch coop is poorly implemented unless you are both good or both terrible as with overcooked. Deluxe doesn’t have that issue, in my opinion, due to the way the scrolling works in game. It might feel odd spending $60 on a 10 year old game from the WII U, but Nintendo originals always hold up well.

I suggest memes as in the Richard Dawkins original definition, not funny haha memes but shared reproducible culture. We are social creatures, more than any other, and our social development has happened far more quickly than typical evolution ever could.

Quite a bit of human development has been in the category of nurture, as opposed to nature. While humans have changed little biologically, I have an “appendage” in my hand that can communicate with an individual in space. Memes replicate and evolve much more quickly than genes do.

I agree that it is a limitation of the nature of federated software. All the same, it makes me nervous to interact. I would feel much better if it wasn’t every instance owner, but just the owner of the one your account came from, or perhaps the one you were interacting with. I’m not anonymous enough to feel comfortable.

I don’t vote much on any posts or comments for exactly this reason. I wish it wasn’t this way.
