Calling it crypto won’t make people understand. Watching the video will help people to understand, the why and the how. They don’t necessarily have to agree with the solution but the most important thing is understanding the problem because too many people are still unaware of it.

Amazing but more usual that one might think, it’s the same anger you can see in people that identity themselves with some other fictions like religion, nationalism, football teams, ideology, race, etc. When watching a movie you kind of temporarily turn off your disbelief to experience joy, sadness, anxiety etc but when the movie is over the healthy behavior is the recognition that everything was an acting. You are literally sending 99% of the new Linux users back to Windows haha. C’ mon its not that hard, look at what custom ROM developers do. They put a big disclaimer warning of the risks of installing the software. You won’t find a single user blaming the devs for a bricked phone, and there are lot of them. The one who has to consider the risks and warn about them is the dev, just because (s)he is the one who knows the software better and not all users are developers and they usually don’t know what are the risks.

Amazing. I feel exactly the same about modern documentaries and I expressed the same dislikes about them just a few weeks ago. Have you checked out DW Documentary Youtube channel? In case you haven’t it has good documentaries and sometimes exceptionally good, very informative and eye opening, all without fancy effects, just the raw subject matter.
