I think the most famous example is probably “Pale fire” by Nabokov. Not sci-fi, but very very fun! George Perec write some interesting concept books. One is about this apartment in Paris where every chapter just describes a random room in the building, but slowly tells a story of the inhabitants.
I came here to write the same thing. Why do they do that?
wrt TikTok I assume the poll just asked what other platforms you are on, not if you are posting career related things on the platform. Most grad students are in their 20s and probably use TikTok for entertainment.
The Macintosh at my school back in the day used to say - over the speaker - “it’s not my fault” when it crashed. We kids always thought it was hilarious.
They’d also dilute them in water and drink progressively less dilute solutions. Also, as other people mentioned, notice what other bugs and animals are eating.
“Boner” is a clumsy error
