That is a concern, and we do occasionally remove posts that are clearly not factual.
Thanks! I looked at our recent posts and I do see that those with source links tend to be more upvoted and spark more discussion, but I don’t think the community is busy enough to make it a rule just yet. I am happy to note in the sidebar that citing sources is likely to help your post become more popular, though.

If you have “Hide read posts” selected in your settings, Lemmy will assume you’ve read your posts and hide them from you. Check your settings for that.
That’s really gross and fascinating at the same time.
I’ve been trying to make one for Rare Genetic Disease Support for a few days but it doesn’t seem to work. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting tips I’ve found and I’m pretty sure I’m doing it right but it just spins endlessly. I’ve tried searching for it and it doesn’t seem like it worked yet.
