I’ve literally never heard a single person bring that idea up. Acting like it’s somehow a widely held belief because that dude said so is idiotic.

Yeah, I’m at that point now. Normally I don’t engage this heavily with obvious trolls, guess this is my quarterly reminder why I don’t.

On the off chance that you’re actually open to hearing any kind of criticism, sure:

1. You made a post on a small forum about an objectively obscure topic, seemingly with the expectation that people would understand an acronym for that obscure topic.
2. Numerous comments essentially asked “what the fuck does that even mean?”
3. When faced with an opportunity to introduce more people to this obscure topic with some modicum of grace, you instead made what appeared to be a sarcastic, disparaging comment that people should obviously just know what you’re talking about.
4. When called out for #3, you decided that everyone in this thread clearly hated the obscure topic that none of them had even heard of, rather than realizing that people reacted poorly to your poorly disguised arrogance and pretentious comments.

That is the most pretentious way of saying “nuh-uh” I’ve read today. Feel free to continue your string of pseudo-intellectual, self-aggrandizing bullshit, but don’t expect me to clap for you.

You can sit around and be a pretentious dick all you want, or you can take this as an opportunity to welcome people to something that you enjoy. Clearly you’ve already decided to do the former.

The lack of sorting is really my only gripe with outposts. Right now, I have everything funneling into one main outpost and accumulating in a massive wall of containers, haven’t really jumped into automated crafting yet. Building aspects have always appealed to me in games, so I’ve enjoyed just optimizing resource collection and setting up a supply chain.

I’m not installing any mods until I finish my first playthrough, but a sorting mod will be my first download.

I didn’t play much Fallout outside of a scratched copy of FO3, so can’t speak to any issues with the dialogue from that perspective. I don’t have any major issues with it

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Starfield so far, put about 80 hours in and haven’t finished any of the questlines yet (largely intentionally, partially because I’ll get sucked into another questline and get distracted). I like the outpost building, the ground combat is fun, the space combat is ok, not on the level of Elite or Star Citizen, but still entertaining.

Solid game to me. Maybe it didn’t live up to people’s wildest expectations, but I went in expecting an enjoyable experience and got it. I don’t really get the hate for it.

Playing D&D with some people on Friday, then setting up my new Sawstop table saw. After that, building a miter saw station for some storage and more effective use of space in my shop. I doubt I’ll finish that, but then I need to finish restoring an old planer from sometime between 1935 and 1986 (got everything taken apart, cleaned up, painted, put back together, just need to rewire it) so I can sell my cheap one. If I manage to get all of that done, then I have some nightstands to build
