Streaming services stopped being convenient a couple of years ago. Introduction of ads, content strewn all over the place, shitty UI, etc.
I went with Stremio because it has everything in one place. Seeding is not an option because Germany is a shit country for seeding Torrents.
Real Debrid does the torrenting while the end user downloads the cached content. I’m not sure if they seed or not however.
Oh, so I guess the 15kWp on my roof that generated 14 MWh last year was just a dream then.

It’s a transition. ICEs will be here for decades to come. It’d be nice to have less of them however. Plus EVs can be a puzzle piece in solving energy storage, so full renewables becomes feasible.

I myself still drive an ICE, because I don’t want to afford an EV yet (they’re extremely expensive in Germany). An EV would be ideal for me however. I produce a shitload of energy with the PV on my roof. In the last 30 years I’ve lived here, we had exactly one power outage that was fixed within an hour. We brutally overproduce wind and solar power, EVs can actually help store that surplus energy (think vehicle to grid).
Maybe you should inform yourself before you make a fool of yourself.

I’m sorry, I was referring to Germans that head down to Mallorca for a weekend to get shitfaced. It doesn’t make sense that a train ride from Hamburg to Munich costs 5 times as much as a flight from Hamburg to Mallorca.
Inner European flights are also important, until we have a dedicated highspeed train network that connects all of Europe’s larger cities with each other.
I’m absolutely for eliminating domestic flights within European countries. Let’s get some good trains going instead. But traveling the skies is one of humanities greatest achievements and lets us explore other cultures in a way we otherwise never could. Let’s not get rid of those. I don’t want to be trapped here. Ban 30€ flights from Germany to Mallorca? Absolutely! Ban flights from Germany to APAC, Africa or the Americas? Please don’t.
Where I live, everyone has photovoltaics on their roofs. Of I drive to a friend’s place, I’ll just hook the EV up to his charger. No problem… If I could afford a goddamn EV that is.
But maybe people would like a standalone device, without the distraction a regular smartphone brings.

Guinness isn’t considered good in the industry, plus I dislike the taste. I like the company behind it though. There we go. Shit like the American Budweiser or Beck’s is difficult to brew, but tastes like shit. Taste can be an objective thing too, hence why there are beer sommeliers. But sure, if insulting me makes you happy, I’m fine with that. Have a pleasant day mate!
Edit: I redacted my comment as I don’t want to expose too much. Let’s just say most brewer’s I work together with have a passionate distaste for Guinness, mainly for the brewing process. But that may also be the elitist mindset of German brewers.
I agree with the light lagers sentiment though. I personally despise them but the brewing knowhow behind them is pretty extensive.
Anywho, it all boils down to personal taste and I can find better beers in most of these regions (haven’t been to all yet).
If you’ve been using Windows for decades, Linux is absolutely not easier to use. Troubleshooting Windows for me is super easy and nowadays I hardly have to troubleshoot at all. It kinda just works™. Troubleshooting Linux as a noob is absolutely atrocious and I’ve always run into a problem with Linux within the first couple of weeks.
That said, I wish I grew up using Linux, so it’d be second nature to me. I really would like to ditch Windows. Problem is, I’m already burnt out from my job, I really don’t have the energy to make the switch yet.
