In 2016 Democrats ran a widely disliked neoliberal through a heavily biased primary and wonder why they lose.
Will have to see if any other details come out since with just the little that’s out there it doesn’t seem like a clear improvement.
Will be interesting to see who they gave up since it’s a sign and trade.
Edit:
Seems it’s a 3-team deal
Josh Green is being traded to the Charlotte Hornets in the Klay deal.
Edit: Actually sounds like as it’s constructed them sending out Josh Green means they can just sign him outright so Warriors aren’t involved at the moment.
A strange twist to the emerging details about Klay Thompson’s intention to sign in Dallas: The Warriors haven’t agreed to any Klay Thompson sign-and-trade at this point, per team sources. It could still happen, but more negotiation and finalization would still be needed if the Warriors are to be part of it. - Anthony Slater
The Mavericks could sign him straight up without the Warriors help.
Definitely risky especially towards the end of the deal but 76ers kinda had to pull the trigger on someone this offseason with Maxey’s contract and PG was definitely the best available. He also wasn’t going to take less than 4 years otherwise it sounds like he would’ve stayed with the Clippers.
Yeah Knicks other moves made it so this wasn’t feasible but I like what they’ve done so far so just an unfortunate consequence of an otherwise great offseason for them!
Yeah it really is a great move just from the mentor angle alone, they also need a PG so great all around.
Players can always sign for the minimum and it would help free up space for team building but I’m sure the star players figure why should they be the ones taking the pay cut versus the role players to make a competitive team. Although I agree that once you’ve made enough I’m surprised more older stars don’t take a slight cut to compete better.
Pelicans could make a good run but it’s all going to come down to Zions health again so we’ll see.
The three second-round picks headed to Detroit are Toronto’s 2025, a 2028 pick that is the less favorable of the Clippers or Charlotte, and Miami’s 2028.
Also frees up space for them to re-sign Derrick Jones jr.
Hope the best for him, it’ll be nice to play with his dad and hopefully there’s not too much pressure and he’s given time to develop given it’s the Lakers and he’s lebron son.
I don’t really follow college and this year it was especially tough to judge it sounds like but here’s what John Hollinger said about the Spurs pick:
I had Castle second on my board and really like the fit in San Antonio, where the Spurs need to upgrade their perimeter talent on both sides of the ball. Castle also will likely get plenty of chances to play on the ball given the Spurs’ dearth of point guard talent, which is notable given his stated preference of playing the point. His shooting is a question, but his ability to guard immediately and his high long-term ceiling make this a great pick.
This year the 2nd round is on a separate day (tomorrow) so he still may get drafted. More than likely some team is going to take him since 2nd rounders aren’t valued much.
Updated to they got a pick and a pick swap:
2031 unprotected first round pick
2030 top-1 protected pick swap
Didn’t know you could put protections on swaps until this tbh.
Sounds like the Wolves were super high on him.
Biden has pushed funding and weapons to the Israeli military despite clear evidence they will be used for the genocide of Palestinians. So yes he is responsible.
Dominos is really only worth it if you’re doing the 2 for $5.99 each deal. Although I think that’s even up to $6.99 now lol
Ahh I forgot about breakfast, that makes more sense. I was picturing butter drenched fires lol.
In one video, which has 30,000 views on TikTok, a young woman becomes increasingly exasperated as she attempts to convince the AI that she wants a caramel ice cream, only for it to add multiple stacks of butter to her order.
Lmao didn’t even know you could add butter to something at McDonald’s. If you can’t then it’s even funnier it decided that’s a thing.
Enlighten me what the “accurate story” is then.
They need a backup for Turner so it’s a low risk move depending on how much the contact is. Maybe he lives up to some of the potential and if not it’s just a 2-year deal that I’m guessing is pretty cheap.
