Well technically thanks to the rising housing cost crisis I’ve gained about 50k in equity in the past 3 years. Does that count?
Just putting it out there that “property owning” is not the class deliniator! I “own” my house/property and the only differences are that i pay rent to a bank instead of a landlord, and i can knock holes in the walls if i want to.
I’m still pretty much paycheck to paycheck, squarely in the working class.
You’re off by a lot! Youtube is almost 20
Yes but it doesnt always align with night time. Half of the time the moon is rising at the same time as the sun. Its very common for the moon to be visible during the daytime if its on the other side of the sky from the sun so we can see the light reflecting off of it
Might be the best answer to this question I’ve seen yet
I live less than a half-mile from my kids’ school, and people ask why I walk them instead of driving… everyday I see people who live closer than I get in their cars and drive 2 blocks to pick up their kids!
Its madness I tell you

Im seriously considering getting rid of my oven and replacing it with an air fryer and portable induction hotplates.
Only problem is that a frozen pizza wont fit in an air fryer and thats like the only thing I actually use the over for!
Well to be fair this was literally the first printer I’ve ever bought, at 31. It advertised on the box that it could connect by wifi or by cord, so I expected it to come with all accessories needed for that.
Nope, turns out printers still come with a unique connector type.
Darwin awards are reserved for those who remove themselves from the gene pool. Mr Amber Lamps here can probably still put a bun in the oven.
I bought a cheap printer from walmart last year and was absolutely miffed that it didnt come with a cord. No, I am not connecting you to my wifi and installing your software on my computer! Had to buy a printer cord on amazon that ended up costing as much as the printer itself…
Theres a lot they don’t teach in school! Its been over a decade for me but from what I remember “world history” class was basically just WWI and WWII.
Yes of course there are actually a lot of differences, being a homeowner after renting for years I am very aware. My comment, partly in jest, was focusing on practical day-to-day differences. But also, getting equity in your house is actually not that big of a windfall if you sell, because you still have to live somewhere and the other houses/rentals have all gone up in cost to match. I suppose if I was to move in with someone… but I dont plan on doing that ever.
But anyways yea fuck capitalism
