I believe it. I was buying smokes without an ID by the time I was 17.

Cancer rates in the US are up about 500% since 1970. My brother is in late 20s and is already needing testosterone meds, presumably due to years of work in industrial settings.
you need to submit your application which includes signatures from two references, your partner, and any former partners from the last three years.
Excuse my sorry Texan ass, but the idea of denying someone gun ownership just because they had a bad breakup or don’t have a social circle is wonk to me.
I also didn’t mention that the RCMP licensing division is backed up like crazy, and the courses are usually booked months in advance. You can count on about six months from the time you decide to get your license to the time you legally own your first gun.
The best part about this is that the licensing and all the other fees probably make it profitable to run, meaning they’re bottle-necking both on purpose and at their own expense.
It just seemed like bot behavior to me that someone would make so many posts so fast is all, but I guess “terminally online” is one way to describe a disabled person.
Maybe you can understand how always having a lot of content primed and ready to go and already having a plan of where to post it so that it can be done quickly seems like a “terminally online” thing from my perspective. It seems like an excessive effort to me for a human to post that much content daily with such a time crunch. In order to repost content in the first place, a human user would also have to be active on multiple social media sites, so maybe “internet addict” would be a better descritpion.
Why do you have a pattern of uploading in bursts of posts all within a single minute of each other then going quiet for several hours?
Update: It was because I triggered bot detection for not pandering in enough comment sections.
I was permanently banned from streaming (had thousands of followers at the time) for animal abuse after asking another streamer if they milk their goats, then I was permanently site banned for harassment after arguing with them about it. Don’t give me an excuse to get started.
The only thing that drug screening welfare applicants has ever done is shown that the percentage of welfare applicants that use drugs is much lower than the general population.
But it makes sense that usage rates would be lower if they had to stop taking to keep their presumably much-needed benefits.
The issue is often a result of companies paying off those 3rd party testers to use outdated equipment that can’t detect the counterfeiting methods being used, or so I’ve heard.
Title is highly misleading, but that’s to be expected of The Guardian.
Maybe just me personally, but if they’re gonna put “blend” on the bottle I’d be more inclined to assume it’s intended as a selling point rather than a begrudging legal requirement.
Many thanks.
I’d like to take this opportunity to make an honorable mention of Planet Fitness, LegalShield, and BeenVerified for all having functional purchase and subscription systems yet forcing me to cancel my subscription either through writing or by phone. I will never use any of these again.
Walmart is already on my boycott list, alongside Kroger.
I heard about that. I wouldn’t even buy beeswax from Amazon because I heard all the horror stories of even some of the highly rated products being cut with Paraffin, which gives me headaches. I could give you a list.
I’ve heard about Lemmy for a while, and I just joined after getting permanently banned for “threatening violence” after posting “nice sub here” in a new subreddit. I wish I were joking, but it personally doesn’t surprise me that much when considering my past experiences. The appeal was denied.
Reddit’s most dedicated and longstanding users can only tolerate so many nonsensical and frivolous permanent account bans over the years before they flock to that beautiful forest sprouting up across the river. Lemmy should continue to grow because people like me intend to be here for the life of it.
My last few months on Reddit were spent tracking bot accounts, and taking note of suspicious patterns of certain subreddits refusing to take action against blatant propaganda bots. I’m glad to be past that, at least for now, and I wish the users I’m leaving behind luck. Things were nuts.
