This is a really really old shitpost
It’s founder circle is fully made by Web3 Crypto Scam people.
Literally this, or the Web3 BS Bluesky.
You can not really have 100% alcohol. It’s really hard to get the last few percent of water out of it. Destillation is useless at that percentage and drying agents are used, but even they can’t get all water out. Denatured just means that there is a bitter tasting chemical mixed in so it won’t be drunken by those wanting to avoid alcohol taxes.
On Kbin, users can block whole servers, but also subscribe to whole servers.
I just looked a bit through the mastodon accounts of core developers.
I first was on Lemmy, now on kbin. Kbin is just a much more nicer experience. Also it’s not developed by tankies who glorify f*cking Mao Zedong. Simple as that.
Defederation is a feature of the Fediverse, and using it isn’t some big crime.
Defederation was meant as a last measure to block instances like gab.ai or truth social. Not to block content the Moderators may not like. At the end it should be the users choice what content they enjoy. Large instances blocking each other betrays the whole idea, the dream that we can all communicate. This is, at its core, Gmail blocking Outlook users to send mails to Gmail users because Outlook allows X, Y and Z and its just insanity.
I certainly hope that. Right now I do not care that I am deeply into minus reps while having lots of upvotes, but when magazins/communities start to lock out accounts from interacting until they have certain rep, it won’t be as good.
Oh, thats why my rep is only going down. I hope they will think about this, because it makes no sense whatsoever.
No problem with that, but that’s not what the NSFW switch is for.
You speak about the “All” section. NSFW communities should not appear there like they don’t do on Reddit either.
That is true, yet it’s also misuse of the NSFW button. It’s specifically for depictions that are adult, not for spoken words that are adult.
You can simply not activate the “show nsfw” checkbox and you will never see that stuff in your feed
