This isn’t progress either. It’s the same absurd “give up all leverage permanently in exchange for a temporary cease fire that the Israeli government has shown an unwillingness to honor” deal from a month or two ago.
It’s pure theater to make it seem like the Israeli apartheid regime is blameless because “Hamas said no to a totally fair deal, we promise!”
Israel doesn’t want peace, Hamas won’t under ridiculously slanted conditions (or arguably at all), and the Biden administration won’t stop fueling the genocide by sending the weapons IDF uses to massacre innocent civilians.
Glad Biden is in charge of this and not Trump, doubt there would be any progress under him.
