recent: tears of the kingdom, or as i like to call it botw 1.2, its the same thing all over again just with one or two added gimicks, the open world is dead, npcs are boring and nintendo just got away with it like that

not so recent: i cant stand persona 5, joker and his entourage are annoying teenagers, the time management is a horrible gameplay addition and the artstyle is just a visual overstimulation

with that being said,~~ plz dont kill me~~

I think it’s that Ssb is a Tekken/Street Fighter-type game for people who grew up in the nintendoverse 😊 I don’t own Smash Bros but will play if i link-up with friends who do & wish to play.

I personally like: the colours; the fact it’s “clean” and PG; the music (it’s arcade fun!) ; the characters ive grown up with & others from games i never played but now make me curious.

As a concrete example, i never rly knew much about Starfox or Metroid but when I played smash bros with my friends who used fox & falco or Samus Aran they looked fun. It didn’t lead to much but I did end up learning more about their respective games.

Ditto goes for Shiek from Zelda & that numbers guy Mr Game & Watch 🤣😭 The memories !!

      ftr I like Kirby 🙈🌻

Had u already considered this or has my text helped? 😄 Have a good day :)

That’s true, might not have gotten into Metroid later without playing this one. Good point!
