Wine is a shim, a workaround, not true native Linux support. Don’t care if ‘they support it’. Support native Linux, instead. No it’s not. You are saying you are fine running a program not made for Linux on Linux. That in no way promotes the growth of Linux. It promotes a kludge, a culture of ‘good enough’ for a pile of dog crap that is going to break sooner or later. No wonder Linux can’t gain ground on the desktop. It’s frustrating as hell to watch for year after year after year.
